Yasser A. Alaska, MD, CHSE
Working currently as the Director for the Clinical Skills and Simulation Center/King Saud University and the Director of the Emergency residency training program and Assistant Professor in the Department of Emergency Medicine at King Saud University- Medical City.
Dr. Yasser Alaska engages with the current clinical and academic issues of Emergency Medicine and Critical Care for a wide audience. Offering fellowship supported instruction in Medical Simulation at Brown University has enabled sharing of knowledge accrued on two continents. As well, Dr. Alaska is a Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) from the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH).
His research interests focus on current issues in Emergency Medicine, Disaster Preparedness and Medical Simulation. He is dedicated to the improvement of all aspects of Emergency Care and Medical Education within the nation, the Gulf Region and beyond.
